Hi guys,

I am pretty sure this has happened in the past to someone. But I could not find any valid workaround in the net, so far.

Problem:

I moved one VM with snapshots from one location to another. And now when I try to start it up, I see mentioned error message in the subject line.

I went from looking at the CID number of the parent snapshot to copying and renaming the last snapshot in other location. Result, I am still desperate to start up the machine.

This machine was created long ago with Workstation 5.X but I am using now 9.0 version.

I will be attaching a screenshot of how the vm folder looks like (the supposed to be missing file is there as you will see), the error message and the vmware logs.

Please let me know if you need something else.

Cheers
